Bacon and eggs, fresh cut grass, Coppertone suntan lotion, chestnuts, and the prohibited cotton candy.

What kind of posters did you have in your room as teenagers?

Portraits of Kiss and Farrah Fawcett.

Did you have any childhood heroes?

Wonder Woman, Jamie Summers (Bionic woman), and Penelope Pitstop.

What where your teenage "fetishes"?

Shoulder pads, Crayon shoes, skinny ties, double wrap belts, and Sun-In highlighting peroxide!

Please describe your first kiss.

The opposite of Katy Perry: “I kissed a girl and I didn’t like it”…

Which was the first album you bought?

Michael Jackson's "Off The Wall", Blondie, B52, Donna Summer's "Spring Affair".

When was the first time that you revolted?

First day of school.

Do you have any regrets looking back?

It wasn’t the most envious childhood, but we wouldn’t change anything because it made us who we are today.

Which was your first book?

The Holy Bible.

What irritated you the most when you were teenagers?

Getting up a bit early every day.

How do you describe your style back then?

Naturally more different than what Willowdale Ontario was ready for in the 70s.

What kind of memories do you have from your summer holidays?

The local public swimming pool. We were there all day, every day until when school started again, befriending the adult staff rather then socialising with children of our age. We had more in common with adults.

How did you see the world?


What where your favourite songs from your teenage years?

"Do you think I’m sexy" from Rod Stewart, "Le freak" from Chic, "La vie en rose" from Grace Jones, and "Native New Yorkers" from Odyssey.

What kind of students were you?

The worst, never concentrated in school.

How did you imagine yourselves as adults?

Famous and fabulous.

What did you perceive as impossible?

Everything was impossible… but we made things happen…
