Tailored, androgynous, pragmatic.

Duchesse satin, silk, wool and cotton.

Short, skimpy dresses — basically overexposure.

Which city has the best-dressed women?

Would you say that you are conservative or bold?

I’m probably both. Maybe.

What are the rules, if any, in the way you dress?

Your handbag should match your shoes — a rule passed down from my grandmother.

Celebrities and style...

Depends on the celebrity and the style.

Do you have any shopping rituals?

Quality over quantity.

We will never see you wearing...

A short, tight skimpy dress.

Who is the most stylish person you have ever seen?

Audrey Hepburn.

What is the first thing you notice on a woman?

How she presents herself.

What are the most treasured items in your wardrobe?

A Navajo necklace that my father purchased for me at a Native American Powwow.

One article of clothing that a woman needs to pay close attention to is...

Undergarments. They are the foundation.

Is comfort an enemy of style?

It depends…

James Selene Joseph of Stylenoir.

The best words of advice you have ever heard?
