How do you select your clothing every morning?

Living in Stockholm means you always have to look at the thermometer in the window and then party! I don't do a big selection; I go for a designer shirt, black or grey pants, and a quality jacket. The most important thing in my daily look are the shoes — it takes a few extra minutes to choose the 'ones.’

Please describe your style in three words.

Fearless, rocker, and modern.

What is the biggest mistake one can make when getting dressed?

Not using the corresponding size?

Do you believe in role models?

Definitely! They are a continuous source of inspiration for anyone who is working in a creative world.

What are your favourite fabrics?

Leather, pure silk, and cotton.

Are there any style combinations that you object to?

Tailored pants and running shoes.

Which city has the best-dressed women?

Paris, and maybe my dearest Buenos Aires in second place.

Would you say that you are conservative or bold?

What are the rules in the way you dress?

Pay close attention to details and select the shoes first.

Celebrities and style...

Live together in perfect harmony… under the strict supervision of a good fashion stylist.

Name one garment/accessory that you can never have enough of?

Shoes, of course!

A woman should always look like...

With great confidence and creativity.

Who taught you what you know about style?

My mom and dad, they had a very unique and inspiring style.

What is your biggest regret?

Never regret.

The three essential things a woman should know about style are...

Less is less. More is more. Timelessness is a winner.

Do you have any shopping rituals?

Yes I do. I feel much better buying pieces that have longevity thanks to their good design and quality.

We will never see you wearing...

Priest flat sandals.

Which new designers do you admire and why?

Christopher Kane. I have followed his work since 2006 and I am passionate about his smart prints and fabrics research.

Is comfort an enemy of style?

Not necessarily, but sometimes it is difficult to find the two in perfect balance, especially when we are talking about shoes…

Who is the most stylish person you have ever seen?

Inez van Lamsweerde, no doubt!

What is the first thing you notice on a woman?

The colour and the shapes of the nails and looking down quickly at her shoes, of course.

What are the most treasured items in your wardrobe?

My shoe collection. Some old rings or bracelets from my grandmother. Givenchy clutches.

The one image that defined your approach to style...

Blondie performing in the video of 'Atomic' in 1979.

Which fashion house never fails to impress you?

YSL or Saint Laurent as it is called now.

One article of clothing that a woman needs to pay close attention to is...

Her shoes and clutches.

Who would you like to recommend for My Style€?

Carin Rodebjer, my personal favourite fashion designer from Sweden.

The best words of advice you have ever heard?

"The eye has to travel." — Diana Vreeland.
